LI2DAY
The WIBCC is a proud partner with the LI2Day Walk annual 35 mile 2 day walk held each June. In 2011 we had 9 walkers (some physical and some virtual) who together as a team raised over $9,000 as their commitment to the walk.
For 2012 Team West Islip BCC has 26 walkers!
Those who physically walk have an amazing 2 day experience. There were many volunteers and crew people who also contribute to and create a great experience.
The LI2Day awards the qualified coalitions based on a point system. In 2011 we were awarded $32,200.00. 100% goes to our "Lend a Helping Hand" program so that we may help others.

LI2DAY Walk is a strategic partner with the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition, helping fund our "Lend A Helping Hand" program which assists women and their familes affected by Breast Cancer.
WIBCC annual funding generated through the LI2DAY Walk organization to date (5/2012) amounts to $192,900!
