Thank
you to our
Volunteers

Thanks to our
volunteers for the time, effort
and knowledge you so
generously share with us.
Whether it be volunteering at a
fundraiser, or at an
awareness and educational function,
we are truly grateful.
Volunteers JoAnn Kellner and Sandy Smith, and WIBCC President
Ginny Regnante represent the WIBCC and promote Breast Cancer Awareness
at the West Islip County Fair in September 2002.
Volunteer
Alice Lynch and Treasurer and co-office Manager Fredi O’Connor
attended and manned an educational table at the Islip High School
Health Fair in May. Thank you ladies for speaking to, and educating,
our younger generation on health and Breast Cancer.
WIBCC hosted their 8th annual Henry Gates Clam Shucking Contest
in August. Yes . . . eight years of the most wonderful fun filled
days hosted by the KISMET “INN” and “OUT” Restaurants. The day
started with a ferry ride (donated anonymously) to Kismet, Fire
Island. It continued with food, fun, music and raffles. Thank
you to the restaurants, the volunteers at Kismet and volunteer
crew that transported us safely to the fun filled day. Your generosity
surpassed whatever we could have imagined!! Pictured l to r, Patricia
