Thank You Lavish Hair Beautique - November 25, 2019
Lavish Hair Beautique held a wonderful fundraiser with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Each person who took a picture with Santa donated $20. Thank you all for your generosity, and for giving us all the proceeds to help fund our Lend A Helping Hand program.

Santa at Lavish Hair Beautique - November 25, 2019
Margaret Campisi joined Santa and Mrs. Claus at Lavish Hair Beautique, 1137 Deer Park Ave, North Babylon, on Monday, November 25, from 5:30 - 8:30 pm to take part in a photoshoot fundraiser, by Thomas E. Fusco Photography, who donated his services and took individual and family group sittings. Also, discounted kids cuts were offered!

iLoveKickboxing had a fundraiser that was started by Joann Gorsky, a volunteer. We thank the owners and managers of iLoveKickboxing for hosting this event, with so much punch!
Thank you to the kickboxing staff and Joann Gorsky for spearheading this fundraiser. They presented WIBCC with a generous check for $1,800.

The Bohlsen Restaurant Group held held “Pink Menu Month” during the month of October 2019. They graciously donate to the local coalitions a portion of their proceeds from that menu. We were honored to accept a check for $1000, thank you to the Bohlsens.
AFC Urgent Care - 2019 Fundraiser
AFC Urgent Care held an October fundraiser for the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition, where for every patient that came in to their office during the month of October, they donated $1.00. West Islip Girls Soccer Team - October 2019
The West Islip Girls Soccer Team had a bake sale in October. They made everything themselves, braved the rain the day of the bake sale, and raised $215 for the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition. Thank you ladies, we much appreciate your contribution, and we LOVE your pink socks!

Bay Shore’s Heijoshin Dojo Fundraiser
Sensei Robert Perez, head instructor and owner of Heijoshin Dojo, a martial arts school in Bay Shore, and his students presented a very generous donation of $1,000.00 to Margaret Campise for the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition. The ultimate objective of heijoshin is the same as the ultimate objective of the martial arts - to help each individual reach his or her full potential, and thereby improve society as a whole. In keeping with this philosophy they focused their efforts locally and recognized WIBCC for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We thank you for your kindness, it is very much appreciated.
Who knew, there are so many Shades of Pink Wines?
Pink wines come in a range of beautiful hues, from cantaloupe to mandarin orange and near purple, depending on the grape varieties and techniques used. They include rosés, blushes, and white zinfandels, in still or sparkling. We were the fortunate recipients of Crazy Billy‘s, with Lou's donation of a $500 check from the sales of these beautiful pink varietals during October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thank you, Lou, we are just "blushing" with joy from your generosity.
Girl Scout Troop #476
Thank you, Girl Scout Troop #476 and leader Janice Ferraro for your generous comfort backpacks donated and assembled by the Girl Scouts for people who are undergoing therapy. We were very touched by the girl's personal notes of kindness that they wrote to the patients. The girl's maturity and involvement in community was further demonstrated when they led the Pledge of Allegiance at our Annual Appreciation and Awareness Luncheon on October 21, 2018. Thank you for your guidance, they are great women in the making.
Hand Knitted Treasurers
Aimee Saccio from the Connetquot Library presented to the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition of L.I., with homemade knitted items to give to our patients going through breast cancer.
Long Island Ducks
Central Islip, N.Y., September 4, 2018 - The Long Island Ducks annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night Jersey Auction was another great success! Fans were able to place their bids on special commemorative jerseys, which were worn during the Ducks 6-2 win over the New Britain Bees on September 4th, which was the team's 13th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night. Bids started at $75 and were increased in minimum $10 increments. Bidding ran through the conclusion of the top of the seventh inning during the September 4th game, and fans were able to place their bids by visiting the Waddle In Shop on the main concourse behind home plate during the game. Net proceeds from the auction are to be donated to the breast cancer awareness organizations in attendance, including West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition of Long Island, Inc., on Tuesday night by the QuackerJack Foundation, the charitable arm of the Ducks. All donations were tax deductible. We would like to thank the QuackerJack Foundation for it's continued support of our cause and for bringing awareness to this important cause!
Udall Girls Soccer Team Bake Sale Fundraiser
The Udall Girls Soccer Team recently had a bake sale and donated $275 to the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition during October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. "Thank you Udall girls soccer team, great job!"
West Islip High School Girls Field Hockey Team Fundraiser
Every year the West Islip High School Girls Field Hockey Team hold a fundraiser and present WIBCC with a check, this year a check for $900.00.
