LI2DAY is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2004 that raises awareness and much needed funds. It has raised over $3 Million so far from it’s annual walk. "What's Raised Here Stays Here" and 100% of what's raised is distributed to over 15 organizations, (West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition is one of them), who assist breast cancer patients and their families with services in addition to promoting research, education and awareness.

Help West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition raise funds for its Lend A Helping Hand Program through LI2Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Whether you are a physical walker or a virtual one, WIBCC gains valuable points for your participation, which are then converted into a percentage of the funds raised throughout the year. This amazing event raises funds to help cancer patients across Long Island. What is raised here, remains on Long Island!!! Please visit the website and sign up under Team West Islip BCC. Thank you in advance for your amazing and generous participation in this year’s event. Hope to see you there!

There are eight (8) $2,500 scholarships available for students who are cancer survivors and/or their parents!

NEW ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS  Link to the scholarships:

Deadline for both applications is April 2, 2019.  #jointhemovement

The West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition for Long Island, Inc. (WIBCC) is a non-profit 501 (c)3, volunteer, grassroots organization founded in 1992. It is our mission to reduce the incidences and severity of breast cancer diagnoses, by raising awareness to possible means of prevention and early detection. It is also part of our mission, to provide support services, through our Lend A Helping Hand Program, for those who are diagnosed and undergoing treatment for breast and/or gynecological cancers. After being directly responsible for the first comprehensive cancer cluster survey in Suffolk County, which led to a multi-year, Long Island breast cancer study, mandated by Congress in 1993, WIBCC continues to support research and advocacy as it pertains to breast cancer eradication.
